| Review: | Our company arranged vehicle transport for Abco Van Lines for several years. The customers paid Abco Van Lines in full for the transport of their vehicle and then we arranged for a carrier to pick up the customer's vehicle. Abco was to pay our company $135 per vehicle to arrange the transport and then pay the trucking company the transport fee on pick up. The truckers received their fees, but our company did not receive payment for the last 9 transports that we arranged. That is a total of $1215.00. After repeated attempts to collect, we are now being told that the are closing the corporation and there is no lawyer to contact about receiving payment for the services we rendered Abco Van Lines. As a matter of fact, they informed us that their are no corporate assets to disperse. What about the trucks, buildings, office equipment, supplies, etc. there has to be something. I would be very leary of asking a company that is supposedly closing to move anything for me. |
