| Review: | All of the positive reviews on this site have been submitted by employees, I promise! I have never experienced a more unethical business in my life! They were nice and cheap until they had my property, at which point the rate more than doubled, the delivery date was pushed back by 3 weeks (and they were not flexible AT ALL with delivery times, I had to call in sick for work only to wait 10 hours for them) and they were verbally abusive and dishonest on the phone. It is a huge scam, and anyone who says otherwise is just trying to get your money. I intend to take them to court for fraud.
The people who actually deliver your furniture are subcontracted, so when they show up with a bill that you want to contest, you have no choice but to pay the price they say or they don't unload the truck. The person who collects the money in completely unable to explain the bill or anything.
I had my furniture pre-weighed by another business. Continental Express added almost 1,000 pounds to the weight to charge me more. I invoked my right (under federal law) to have it reweighed in my presence, but they essentially made it so that if I insisted on that it would be another month before delivery. The experience was miserable and I paid more than I would have with a more reputable company! It may seem like the cheapest out there, but they will charge more than they say, and you will be so stressed out when/if you finally get your stuff back that you will regret the decision.
