| Review: | I moved from NYC to Connecticut and spoke with Mark (the owner?) who checked online the distance from my old apartment to new apartment. I didn't have a lot of stuff, so the total time was 4 hours (sounded short to me since the roundtrip would be 3 hours but I figured he did it online, so he should know better than me). Got a quote of $350 - sounds low but I figured, even if it takes a few hours longer at $85 per hour, its still not bad.
The move cost me $1100!!!! Supposedly because of traffic, rain, the drive back, etc - it quadrupled the price!! I did not know what to do - got on the phone with the company, they were not helpful, not willing to bend at all or give me free boxes (the movers had to use a few extra boxes for my move). The guys were nice enough, but were rushing to get out of my new apartment even though the bed was not installed. They tried to get away with building the frame for a queen even though I have a full and luckily I caught them and made them re-do it. Woke up this morning and realized they put my headboard on the wrong way so I had to fix it myself (NOT EASY). They also broke my lamp but swore my building people did it (which I can't prove but either way sounds shady - aren't they insured???). I would BEG anyone to not use this. You can't NOT pay - they moved your stuff, they know where you live, etc. but they will screw you like there is no tomorrow. If even one person is saved from using them, I would be happy.
