| Review: | First, they misquoted my rate during six different phonecalls. Then the movers showed up and could barely speak English, not because they're from another country, but because they're borderline-retarded. THEN they suddenly want a lot more money (naturally) and I have to get one of their office people on the phone. They were five hours late, they worked 45 minutes (I didn't have much stuff), and then they complained that $40 for two movers wasn't a big enough tip! When I tried to get my stuff out of storage they said there was $150 fee JUST TO BRING IT DOWN TO THE LOADING DOCK! Then they said they weren't open on weekends, so we had to rent another van and move it on a Monday. What storage space isn't open on the weekends?! They'd moved me on a weekend, but I couldn't pick it up? When we went up to check out my pile and pay, a huge rat ran across the floor. When I realized some stuff was missing, one of the boss-men asked, "Do you have an inventory?! You can't PROVE we lost anything!" What a jerk. A jerk who works with rats. The best part of this sob story? I owed them $260, but they're so out of it they only charged me $110. So at least I've got that going for me. Which is nice. |
